Yutopia 2.0 commenced with a grand opening by Shri A. Pongshi Phom, Hon'ble MLA & Advisor to Chief Minister, Airways and Railways. Accompanied by Shri. Yanger Jamir, SP Longleng, Shri. Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC Longleng, Shri. YB Angam, President of Phom People's Conference and many other dignitaries.

The formal event features a melodic duet, folk song competition and war cry competition.
